John is National Director of Policy for the 澳门2023全年正版免费资料. He is a Registered Planner and 澳门2023全年正版免费资料 Fellow with 30 years’ experience as a public sector manager and consultant in planning, infrastructure, environment and economic development.
John is responsible for guiding 澳门2023全年正版免费资料’s national policy positions. He works with 澳门2023全年正版免费资料’s membership to advocate for reform that strengthens the value of planning. This involves submissions and advocacy on planning systems, infrastructure funding, climate change resilience, city and regional strategy.
John previously led the technical development and delivery of Sydney’s Metropolitan Strategy. He contributed to NSW Government policy for urban renewal, employment lands and the integration of land use and transport. In private practice, John led the project development and EIA of major infrastructure proposals. John continues to contribute to State and Local Government Planning Panels as an independent expert assessor.
